The key priority in management of patients with peritonitis is early surgical intervention and control of the source of infection. This literature review aims to highlight the modern approaches to surgical and anaesthetic management of patients with acute generalised peritonitis.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>   Разлитой перитонит – острая хирургическая патология, характеризующаяся высоким риском развития осложнений и летального исхода. Приоритетом в лечении пациентов с перитонитом являются раннее оперативное вмешательство и контроль над очагом инфекции.
